Era uma vez uma velha casa, onde muitos ratos viviam escondidos nas paredes.
Durante a noite, eles saíam correndo pelos corredores, rindo e procurando comida.
Mas sempre havia medo no ar.
O gato da casa, grande e silencioso, espreitava nas sombras.
Ninguém sabia quando ele atacaria.
Uma noite, cansados de viver assustados, os ratos se reuniram.
O mais velho falou com voz firme:
— “Amigos, precisamos encontrar uma solução.”
Os ratos murmuravam, alguns assustados, outros impacientes.
De repente, um jovem rato ergueu a pata e disse animado:
— “Já sei! Vamos colocar um sino no pescoço do gato. Assim, sempre saberemos quando
ele se aproximar!”
A assembleia explodiu em alegria.
— “Excelente!”
— “Brilhante!”
— “Essa ideia vai nos salvar!”
Mas então, o velho rato ergueu a voz novamente, desta vez devagar.
— “E quem, entre nós, será corajoso o bastante para colocar o sino?”
O silêncio tomou conta da sala.
Um a um, os ratos se olharam, mas nenhum respondeu.
Finalmente, um ratinho murmurou:
— “É… talvez não seja tão simples assim.”
Moral da história
É fácil ter ideias grandiosas, mas muito mais difícil transformá-las em ação.

Once upon a time, in an old house, many mice lived inside the walls.
At night, they ran through the corridors, laughing and looking for food.
But there was always fear in the air.
The house had a big, silent cat that moved like a shadow.
No one ever knew when he would attack.
One night, the mice gathered together.
The oldest mouse spoke with a serious voice:
— “My friends, we must find a solution.”
The mice whispered to each other, scared and tired.
Suddenly, a young mouse jumped up and said excitedly:
— “I know! Let’s put a bell around the cat’s neck! When we hear it ring, we’ll know he’s
coming!”
All the mice cheered.
— “Excelent!”
— “Brilliant!”
— “That will save us!”
But then, the old mouse raised his paw and asked slowly:
— “And who will be brave enough to put the bell on the cat?”
Silence filled the room.
One by one, the mice looked at each other.
Nobody spoke.
Finally, a small mouse whispered:
— “Maybe… it’s not such an easy plan after all.”
Moral of the story:
It’s easy to have great ideas, but much harder to make them real.
