Em um dia quente de verão, uma raposa estava andando pela floresta quando ela viu um cacho de uvas pendurado em uma videira. As uvas pareciam suculentas, e a boca da raposa começou a salivar. Ela queria comê-las, então decidiu tentar alcançá-las.
A raposa pulou e pulou, mas as uvas estavam muito altas. Enquanto pulava, ela pensava: “Eu vou conseguir essas uvas, não importa o que aconteça!” Ela continuou tentando e tentando, mas por mais que pulasse, não conseguia alcançá-las.
Finalmente, a raposa parou e olhou para as uvas. Ela estava ofegante e cansada de tanto pular. Ela disse a si mesma: “Essas uvas provavelmente estão azedas” e foi embora, fingindo não se importar.
Mas, lá no fundo, a raposa sabia que estava apenas inventando uma desculpa para o seu fracasso. Enquanto se afastava, ela ainda estava pensando naquelas uvas.
Moral da história: É fácil desprezar o que você não pode ter.

One hot summer day, a fox was walking through the forest when he saw a bunch of grapes hanging from a vine. The grapes looked juicy, and the fox’s mouth began to water. He wanted to eat them, so he decided to try to reach them.
The fox jumped and jumped, but the grapes were too high. While he was jumping, he was thinking, “I will get those grapes no matter what!” He kept trying and trying, but no matter how hard he jumped, he couldn’t reach them.
Finally, the fox stopped and looked up at the grapes. He was breathing heavily, and he was tired from all the jumping. He said to himself, “Those grapes are probably sour” and walked away, pretending not to care.
But deep down, the fox knew he was just making an excuse for his failure. As he was walking away, he was still thinking about those grapes.
Moral of the story : It’s easy to dislike what you can’t have.
